National Film Awards

"Wilson’s Ben Tinsley, Matteos Mandalia, Mia Urena, Ky Stopp and Ernesto Felix worked together to make the short drama film, “Rebirth,” which won first place in its category as part of the nationwide Student Television Network 2022 Fall Nationals competition." "Among the many awards handed out to students representing schools from around the nation, Wilson High School had a group of students honored. Their work, “Easier Said Than Done,” won third place in the short film category. Wilson students Ben Tinsley, Mia Urena, Roman Fuentes, Matteos Mandalia, Roxy Kuper-Wilson and Ashely Martinez worked together on the award-winning work that was shot and edited around Long Beach with a time limit."
